The brand BrainGeek International came about after several deliberation among the team members. Our first task was to select a niche among the several niche given.
Our niche (Education) was achieved through consensus among the members. The sub niche which is a secondary school, also came through the same process. The color of brand was agreed upon and a move was made to develop a brand guide.
The team members were divided into groups to work on different sections of the brand guide. Brand guide include mission, core values, logo, color, typography and icons.
Brand Guide
Brand guide is a digital rule book that specifies every aspect of the look and feel of your brand. A brand guide is an essential instruction, manual on how a brand should be communicated. A brand guide should be easy to read and it begins with the brand mission statement and the tone of voice. A brand guide includes the following: •Tone of voice •Typography •Logo •Color Palette •Other images illustration
Mission statement:

Logo
The logo is made up of an academic cap and an open book.
Book
A book is a universal symbol for wisdom and intellect.
Books symbolize intellectual freedom and choice.
The open books is a symbol of learning and knowledge.
Academic Cap
The academic cap signifies Excellence. The cap is also a symbol of intelligence and superiority.
Color
Color is an integral part of brand identity. Consistent use of color reinforces cohesiveness of the brand. The Brand has 3 colors.
Main Color:
Blue #0071BC: Strength, Loyalty, Trustworthiness, Ambition
Secondary Color:
Green #47AE6A: Growth, Healthy environment, Development
Neutral base Color:
White #FFFFFF: Purity, Goodness, Humility, Openness, Hope
Typography
This is a powerful brand tool when used consistently. This set of typeface represent bold and authentic feel to the brand and should be used across all print and web applications.
