The side hustle bootcamp cohort 5 is gradually coming to an end, we are done with 5th week out of 6 weeks. We would surely push through.

This week project is an interesting project which is to design a full page newspaper ad for a tech brand.

Explaining the project in simple terms.

There's a newspaper agency that want to advertise a tech company. There is also a designer that works for the newspaper agency. The graphic designer is to design an ad for the tech company either to sell their product or maybe an unveiling event. E.g Daily Sun Newspaper advertising MTN.

Newspaper ads

Newspaper Ad (newspaper advert) is a printed advertisement that is published in a newspaper. Types of newspaper ad: Display ads and Classified ads. The classified ads can either be a classified text ad or classified display ad. Display ads are more expensive than classified ads. The design we would be working on is an example of a display ad

Design of the Full page Newspaper Ad

Since we are asked to design a full page newspaper ad for a tech brand, we decided to come up with a name and logo that would suite the tech brand. We came up with VentureBeat and Hustle Digest, we decided to vote and choose a name. Hustle Digest was chosen and then a logo was designed for the name. Then to design the ad, we designed an ads flyer. The ads flyers were then placed on a design mockup.
