Introduction

This is the continuation of the project that was done for week one. Week one project was to create a brand guide. For this week, I and my team designed some branded items for the brand by using the guidelines, instructions and design information presented in the brand guide.

What is Branding?

Brading is the act of creating a unique identity or image of a brand or product to build trust and attract customers. The objectives of branding is to differentiate a product from competitor's product. Branding integrates components like color, sign, visual imagery, typography, etc. Branding helps in retaining customer and increasing loyalty.

Branded Items

Branded Items or Brand merchandise is an integral part of sponsorship and promotions. Great businesses implement a strategic approach that ensures their merchandise is an important part of their overall marketing strategy. The branded items help a business express their brand personality, emotionally connect with their target market, reinforce their message, and engage with their customers. The best promotional products are lifestyle products with great functional features, such as water bottles, hoodies, t-shirts, bags, journals, jotters, and caps. The more use the recipient can get out of the item, the more likely your brand will stay top-of-mind.

How the designs was carried out.

Before we started designing, we outline all the items to be branded. Then each member of the team had to pick atleast an item to brand. Everyone decided to pick items that he/she can design.

Now to get our designs done very fast within the timeline given to us and to make the work less stressful while designing the brand items, we decided to use a Mockup.
What is a mockup ? A mockup is a file that allows you to create a sample of your product or show your work in a real-world setting without actually having to create a physical product. It is a means of showing off what your design will actually look like when it's put out into the real world.

After the designs were done, it was submitted, and everyone makes their comments on each designs. Some corrections and adjustments were made on some designs.
